The people affiliated with the Doctoral School of Chemical Sciences belong to dynamic research communities and are recognised as leaders in their fields.
The doctoral school is based on internationally renowned research units that have all received the CNRS or Inserm accreditation and on the institution's major research projects (Light S&T, PPM...). The research communities work in all fields of contemporary chemistry as well as at the interfaces between chemistry and the environment, physics and biology, chemistry being an interface science by nature.
The doctoral school is also backed by strong industrial partners: 10 to 15% of PhD students benefit from industrial or CIFRE (industrial agreements for training through research) contracts.
