This symposium is organized by Marie Padilla, Marion Paoletti and Marion Tissier-Raffin, with the support of the Mainguené Foundation and the DETS department, as well as CERCCLE, CRDEI and IRM.

The discussions will be structured in two parts:

How do researchers deal with value issues in research?
Under what conditions can universities, as organisations, intervene in public debate today?
