Pint of Science festival 2026

The Pint of Science festival returns to Bordeaux for its 2026 edition. It offers a unique opportunity to meet researchers in a convivial atmosphere. From May 18 to 20, 2026, scientists will share their work with the general public in emblematic bars across the city.

From May 18 to 20, 2026, join scientists in four bars across the city to discuss and discover science in a whole new way (in French)! During three evenings, researchers will come and share their discoveries and the main questions driving their researches in a convivial atmosphere.

Neurosciences, law, geosciences, computer science... these are just some of the topics on the program, which will be spread over four bars in Bordeaux:

  • Le Washbar (39 Rue Ausone, 33000 Bordeaux)
  • Zig Zag (73 cours de l'Argonne, 33000 Bordeaux)
  • Magnus (32 rue Cheverus, 33000 Bordeaux)
  • Brasserie Artisanale Gasconha (5 avenue Louis de Broglie, 33600 Pessac)

This event is also a great opportunity to meet several PhD students from the University of Bordeaux, who will present their research works (in French):
