Pint of Science Festival

The Pint of Science festival returns to Bordeaux for its 2025 edition. It offers a unique opportunity to meet researchers in a convivial atmosphere. From May 19 to 21, 2025, scientists will share their work with the general public in emblematic bars across the city.

From May 19 to 21, 2025, join scientists in four bars across the city to discuss and discover science in a whole new way! During three evenings, researchers will come and share their discoveries and the main questions driving their researches in a convivial atmosphere.

Neurosciences, astrophysics, law, geosciences, computer science... these are just some of the topics on the program, which will be spread over four bars in Bordeaux:

  • The Washbar (39 Rue Ausone, 33000 Bordeaux)
  • The Sobre Chartrons (24 Quai des Chartrons, 33000 Bordeaux)
  • The Lord Lion (129 Cours d'Albret, 33000 Bordeaux)
  • Cap Sciences (Hangar 20, Quai de Bacalan, 33300 Bordeaux)

This event is also a great opportunity to meet several PhD students from the University of Bordeaux, who will present their research works (in French):
