Humanities and social sciences departments' day: economic analysis of law and beyond

This event, co-organized by the CHANGES (social sciences of contemporary change), DETS (law and social transformations), and ECOr (evaluation, behaviors, organizations) research departments, will offer an interdisciplinary exploration of law, economics, and society through several roundtable discussions.

The aim of this day is to open up dialogue between disciplines, combine approaches, and imagine new perspectives for research and training together.

On the agenda:

  • Two paradigms in law and economics: economic analysis of law and institutionalism by Thierry Kirat
  • Interactions between legal systems and economic systems
  • labor law, environmental law, Europe and innovation

Robin Sanchez, PhD student in private law and criminal sciences at the Institute of Criminal Sciences
and Justice, will speak on the topic of "Interactions between legal systems and economic systems" (round table).

Agathe Leleu Chiron, PhD student in comparative contract law at the Institute for Research
in Business and Property Law, and Mohamed Rakraki, PhD student in European law at the Center for European and International Research and Documentation, will participate in the round table on the theme "Law, Europe, and innovation".
