    Summary

This thesis focuses on analyzing the adaptability of general criminal law classifications to more intelligibly and adequately address sexual offences committed on the internet. Relying on a method that prioritizes the application of general law incriminations, the study questions the relevance and flexibility of these classifications in the face of the increasingly concerning emergence of reprehensible digital sexual practices. This approach does not exclude, in a subsidiary manner, recourse to special classifications when the specific nature of the behavior or the harm involved requires it. The aim is thus to assess the effectiveness of existing legal instruments, while evaluating their ability to protect victims and prevent illicit behavior in a digital environment where the materiality of acts and evidence is profoundly disrupted. The analysis covers both the incriminations themselves and the repressive aspects.
