The thesis committee ensures doctoral supervision based on the doctoral charter and training agreement, with its composition, organization, and functioning determined by the doctoral school. Committee members do not interfere with the research direction of PhD students, and the thesis supervisor is not a part of the committee. During a meeting, the committee assesses training conditions and research progress, provides recommendations, and submits a report to both the doctoral school and thesis supervisor. Its role includes preventing any conflicts, discrimination, or harassment.
2024 Thesis Committee Meeting
The thesis committee meets once a year and submits a report that will determine whether or not the PhD student is authorized to re-enroll for the next academic year.
